  • Contract with Unity Health Care, Inc., Washington D.C.'s largest nonprofit health and social service organization, to provide a range of services related to Unity’s Suicide Prevention programming in the D.C. Department of Corrections’ jails. Reviewed relevant literature and introduced model suicide prevention programs; conducted a comprehensive organizational analysis and needs assessment relative to the existing Suicide Prevention Program; developed an effective training plan and curriculum outline; and constructed a strategy for implementing a state-of-the-art Suicide Prevention Program in the D.C. Department of Corrections.
  • Consult with the Department of Defense to assist Airmen and other Service members and their families to cope with the stress, familial disruption, and emotional issues caused by deployments, war, and reintegration.
  • Provide short term, solution focused counseling and psychoeducation to Service members, couples, and families through a contract with MHN, Inc., one of the largest and oldest providers of managed behavioral healthcare and Employee Assistance Programs in the U.S., in their Military & Family Life Consultant Program.
  • Annually, design and employ complex survey instrumentation and process for collecting and analyzing behavioral health organization data. Prepare professional graphic, narrative, and PowerPoint reports of current and previous years’ comparative data; and present and disseminate findings at a collaborative educational forum for representatives of Law Enforcement Agencies and Behavioral Health Organizations. This annual Drug Use and Trends Conference is in its ninth year.
  • Planned, structured, and guided negotiations for multifaceted multi-agency program resulting in major organizational transformation.
  • Contracted to provide Individual and Group Therapy and other Aftercare Counseling Services to Federal Bureau of Prisons clients with substance use disorders, who were transitioning from prison to halfway houses and then reintegrating to community and family life.
  • Created and implemented national model for annually evaluating multi-disciplinary, multi-agency criminal justice program.
  • Conducted Employee Assistance Programs for varied audiences.
  • Implemented Best Practices and process for benchmarking in various settings.
  • Conducted organizational assessments and plans for performance improvement.
  • Prepared Behavioral Health Organizations for CARF and JCAHCO accreditation.
  • Developed and delivered comprehensive training modules for state-wide corrections program in Mental Health and Co-occurring Disorder Assessment, Cultural Competency, Treatment Planning, Case Management, and other Counselor Competencies.
  • Facilitated organizational and leadership clarification, development, and strategic planning events for various faith and spiritual communities.
  • Created and conducted addiction, management, mental health, and multicultural team building and training programs for various agencies.
  • Coached Executive Management Staff.
  • Developed Implementation Plans, negotiated team training, and accessed funding for Drug Court.
  • Authored numerous winning grant applications.
  • Planned, developed and directed major conferences.
  • Consulted with International Drug Courts and Treatment Programs in Ireland and China.
